Avoid at all costs

Pros

If you enjoy spending 8 hours a day being subjected to the egotistical rantings of senior management for terrible pay and terrible benefits, this is definitely the place for you.

Cons

A truly misogynistic management team (if you could even call it that). Frequent dismissals, bullying and harassment of staff. Nice colleagues, but most spend their days cowering in fear. No room for growth and expect to have any ideas you bring to the table swiftly shot down. Staff are frequently publicly harangued and most leave within the first 6 months, the few that have hung on or managed to rise to senior levels are completely out of their depth with little to no genuine experience outside the organisation or knowledge of proper due process. Almost no policies in place, either to protect staff or rights holders.

Pros

Overall really nice and committed colleagues and working on important issues.

Cons

Management and higher level management are not well organised and no HR protocols or employee protection rights. There are no grievance mechanisms put in place. Advice to Management Prioritise staff and their needs and ensure high quality benefits and protect their needs. The management should be proactive and supportive and communicate clearly expectations and standards. The org should also be competitive across regional organisationals both in salary and benefits and employee rights.

Terrible place to work

Pros

Some of the people are nice, but at the same time they're all too paranoid to really work together or have their own ideas

Cons

The management are a couple and gaslight their employees constantly. They are always hiring staff and firing them straight away. They're messing with people's careers and confidence - unfortunately the board is mostly made up of their chums, so there is no one to question their methods.
