Pros

The biggest perk is working on high profile projects. Other than that, there's not much to recommend. You can really learn a lot in a few months.

Cons

Long hours, poor management The breaking point was the constant blaming and yelling from management when something goes wrong (not a lot of praises). I've watched someone get yelled at straight up for an hour and the employee was just silent with their head down. No respect whatsoever. There's no mentorship, there's a high expectation for you to figure it out yourself. Management has also made sexist remarks about employees, disrespectful.

Pros

Projects were high-profile which was great at the start of my career (which is why I've rated higher for Career Opportunities). As a first jump into the industry, I quickly discovered harsh reality of some corporate environements and learned exactly what I didn't want in a management team. This is a pro, because it taught me lessons at the right time in my career - helping to avoid this in the future.

Cons

Mentorship was promised, but not provided. Then the blame is placed on me for not improving quick enough. Another issue I had, was with one of the senior management who made some comments about my appearance that have impacted my life and self-esteem since then. Not a good business practice.

Pros

Not much, did get to be really hands on and dive really deep and learned a lot

Cons

The owner is also the creative director. He's the boss, whatever he says goes. Whenever you do something he doesn't like, he'll tell at you in front of everyone, talk about great work environment. Yah, he's got big projects under his belt, but how good is that when the team is miserable? Don't expect to go home on time. You work till 12am and expects you to be in the office at 9am. Plus on call and working on weekends and holidays. No overtime pay or lieu days. He also bad mouths everyone and gossips about clients and employees all the time. Its really rude. Not really sure how people survive there. People leave cause of the toxic environment he's creating. And I tried to tough it out, but can't take it anymore. He constantly micro manages you. Its really hard to work with him.
