Pros

Some great people to work with, you get quite a few weekend off, otherwise nothing good to say

Cons

The worst place i have ever worked in. Toxic culture, stress thru the roof, work / life balance does not exist. Everytime i drive by their building on the 405 I feel a shiver and thank the lord I have left.

Pros

Boss was out of state.

Cons

Complete chaos! Company is designed to operate as a bureaucracy. Upper management lies and makes empty promises when it comes to pay raises and bonuses. Lay-offs are constant and have become the norm. Workload is unreasonable and so are deadlines. Worst job ever. Only gave this one star because Glassdoor required a rating, otherwise I would not given it one.

Pros

Equator Financial Solutions started as REOTrans with a great vision and a great business model. They started with three people from the financial industry and built the company into a multi-million dollar company in just a few years.

Cons

Unfortunately, vision and a great business model does not make a great company to work for. You also need good management, which is something Chris Saitta does not know how to provide. Example: Equator had a verbal, not written, agreement with one of the biggest financial institutions in the country. The lead on the project was "the first employee" of the company, really just a programmer. This guy didn't have a clue how to manage the project. Saitta never got a written agreement, but spent a huge amount of effort working on this project over a year. In the end, the company lost the account. Everyone associated with the project was fired or forced out, except for "the first employee". This is a classic case of "reward the guilty, punish the innocent". In addition, there is quite a bit of nepotism, with family members and family friends taking most of the good management positions and all the good salaries. Competency is not considered as a factor in these cases.
