Pros
-Knowledgeable and adaptable engineers who know the job inside and out -High standard of ethics and accountability to the clients and the profession -Fun personalities and overall a very great place to work -High mentor to young engineer ratio -Extremely unique project types and wide exposure to materials (zoos, aquariums, housing, libraries, fire stations, medical, they do it all)
Cons
Not really a con, but as it's a small firm the peer group is smaller than some of the larger firms. You will get out of it what you put in. There is a high expectation of personal accountability, but if you lean into this and ask a lot of questions, you will grow exponentially as a designer.
