Too much office politics between departments. Lack of clear directions from senior managements. Opportunities for promotion or internal transfer are minimal unless you worked for the company for a long time. People treated as liabilities not as assests which usually results in laid off people on large projects when they are finished

Age old policies still in place. Reluctant Indian management. They depends upon Canadian counterparts for most of the strategic decision. Mostly drafting, editing, rechecking work is done. No core EPC work done in India office. Indian staff is very narrow minded. And Canadian staff is always worried about their share of work. So they only dump editing and rechecking work to India. Canada office closes their day and India office start theirs. It actually creates a lag in their work. It creates a big communication gap between two offices. Leaving few people, most of Indian staff are horrible extremists.
