Pros
Good hours compared to other boutique Interesting clients - lots of entrepreneurs Not finance heavy at all, good for auditors/consultants wanting to make transition into M&A in a low stress environment
Cons
Not an investment bank - as such don't expect IB pay or bonus. rem ~30-40% below market, however, you're also working 30-40% less so take that into consideration. Culture is non-existent - No friday drinks, no celebratory dinners, team bonding non-existent hence why associate/junior tenure usually less than a year. No training whatsoever, upper management doesn't come from BB background as such they themselves are limited in what they can teach/share
