      Pros

      There is no need to find a client (try doing this on your own and you will understand the reason behind the so called "reduced" pay); writers can just be writers - doing what they do best. No more negotiations about pricing, etc. Assignments, though sometimes scarce, are regularly being shared to the community Earn at your own pace Can withdraw salary anytime; no cutoffs Perfect place to find real friends A good venue to hone your professional writing skills

      Not for everyone. Those who whine are free to go.

      Pros

      Good for new writers who wants to practice their writing skills.

      Cons

      Super low salary. A junior writer earns 60php for every 500 words. Bully editors. I'm afraid to post my concerns on the forums because I saw other writers being bullied by editors. They want respect, but they don't respect their writers. Especially if you have a low rank.

      Pros

      Some of the editors are helpful. They will guide you so you can be familiar with the rules and whatnot. But in terms of writing, they don't really provide specific feedback unless it's about the word count or format. You're on your own.

      Cons

      The rates are really very low. I usually take assignments with rates of about Php300 for 1,500 words. Then I learned that EPH actually receives $50 (about Php2,500) for my work. That's when I stopped working for them.
