Essential Baking Company Reviews

On numerous occasions pay checks were slighted and the company placed little haste on paying employees their earned wages. Wages were most often unfair and term and promotion raises we're put off for months at a time. The Essential Baking Company claims to be a sustainable and locally supportive business, but such values are not maintained if even pennies can be saved. These values were why I worked for the company, but I soon found that their "organic and sustainable" business practices were just a facade.

Made a lot of empty promises concerning my wage. Didn't get raises I was promised. Received glowing proformence reviews but was told that there wasn't enough money on budget to give me a raise. When I put my two weeks in they posted a add on craigslist starting 2 dollars more then I was making. I explained to my direct supervisor that I was upset because I found a higher paying job because of what I was told. There was also a LOT of unprofessional behavior. They like to hire family and friends of each other so those employees get special treatment. Employees get treatment depending on their social status not their work. I worked there for 3 years and was a great employee never in trouble.
