Pros

Independence to work on stories largely though due to proper management structure.

Cons

Inept management. No strategic direction. Questionable ethics. Lazy culture and lack of responsibility taken. Huge platform wasted.

Pros

It may be good for a first professional experience as an English-speaking journalist

Cons

A Portuguese investment group, Alpac, has bought the company and decided to make extensive use of AI, and to restructure the company. The result has been a massive plan of layoffs in France. Small offices have opened in several European capitals though but salaries are low. In Lyon, they will probably work until the end of 2024. Euronews Lyon will probably become a PR Agen
