Pros

Every pro I can think of will soon disappear.

Cons

The company has been created by the EBU as a way to get rid of the commercial part of the organization. They have sold it to investors in January and since then, the divorce is not a happy one. The EBU does everything they can to push Eurovision Services out of Geneva. They own the building and tried to stop our lease agreement in July to get rid of us. The goal is to move everything to Madrid, even if we are not allowed to say so. There is a tsunami of resignations. Every single position closed in Geneva is re-opened in Madrid. The main people of the company (CEO, head of HR, head of IT, ...) are now in Madrid. The strategy was missing for years. Now they are trying to build one. It was supposed to be a team's job but it is now handled by only one person: a manager who was fired 5 years ago for being toxic. He has been re-hired by his former subordinates after they became in charge.

Pros

Coffee is free but that's all there is really.

Cons

When I joined the EBU 10 years ago, I joined a great international organization. I had a tax relief on 30% of my income. I did not pay TV tax. Since then, the organization has been divided in two and Eurovision Services became a commercial entity. Management sweared nothing would change but of course everything did. The tax advantages disappeared. Pressure became harder than ever. They also promised in 2019 the company would not be sold. So off course they sold it in 2023 and we are now owned by German investors. Management is horrible. They promote each other and insult anybody who is not from their circle. Also, they write fake reviews on this website!

Pros

Nice benefits: pension plan, saving in few local businesses, health plan... Brand well known & leader on the market Public culture inherited from the holding: European Broadcasting Union Few excellent experts in their domain International environment

Cons

No leaders, but only managers focused on micro-management. No long term vision, but mostly daily management, which tends to be only crisis management. Important organizational, product and technical debts. Current social plan
