CAUTION: DO NOT WORK HERE

Pros

None, literally none at this office

Cons

My time at Evercare was extremely frustrating. Despite the “family first” slogan plastered everywhere, the company clearly put money before people. Working overtime was expected regularly, with no regard for work-life balance. The boss was brainless—constantly asking “How are you doing?” but never actually caring about the answer, showed a complete lack of empathy. The budget was shockingly limited on everything: the computers were outdated, workers bring their own computers, water machine leaks, and they even turned off the air conditioning in the middle of the day, making the office uncomfortable. Overall, a toxic environment where employee well-being is an afterthought and penny-pinching undermines any chance of success. They don’t EverCare.

Toxic boss, horrible management: DO NOT WORK HERE

Pros

Good colleagues who are all trauma bonded by the toxic management

Cons

Company is run by a husband and wife who are both fake, cruel, and clueless about how to run a business. Wife is verbally abusive and many people have quit only because they cannot stand to be near her. She has no business sense but always insist on doing things her way even if you are more experienced in that subject. She seems to have someone quit almost every quarter. Husband seems nice at first and is great at talking/ making false promises but don't be fooled. Office environment is bad because bosses are too cheap to provide proper tools. We don't even all have our own desk... the water machine doesn't always have water. Sometimes boss doesn't even allow us to turn on air con...And there is a smell due to no ventilation. Too cheap to provide proper things in office but not allow us to WFH. The company computers are all 10 years old and cannot function anymore. Impossible to work under this conditions. When I worked there, even though I finish work at 6pm every day, but so burned out all the time because always thinking about what will happen the next day and will I be unlucky enough to have to talk to boss. I become sick a lot (maybe also because of no air con in office) and lose many hair. Now that I change job I don't have these problems anymore. Work here is really toxic both physically and mentally, highly do not recommend.

Pros

The employees here are friendly

Cons

The company just went through a significant layoff, with more than 20 employees departing over the past year alone, which the founders described as desperate measures due to ongoing business decline. Despite this narrative of financial hardship and necessary cuts, leadership has continued bringing in multiple high-salary hires for senior roles, many of whom lack any meaningful background in healthcare. Meanwhile, existing employees have received minimal or no salary increases, creating a clear double standard that erodes trust and morale. It feels as though the founders are more willing to place blind faith in unproven external leaders to somehow rescue the company rather than investing in or believing in the people who have been there building it all along. The co-founder couple appears to lack a clear understanding of the industry or a coherent direction for the business, yet they frequently shift blame for the decline onto employees, creating a toxic environment that pressures people to leave. This combination of instability, inconsistent priorities, and poor accountability from the top makes long-term success seem unlikely.
