I would like to become a manager one day, and I believe that a role of a receptionist is a first step on my long journey to the position of a manager. I also like routine jobs where one can have a real impact on the business. As a receptionist, the first line of customers service, I believe I can make some impact. That's why I decided to apply for this job.
Cons
One side effect of working as an office receptionist, is that it Strains your eyes. This is because you have to look at the computer screen throughout. This could actually damage your vision in the long run or cause you to wear specs. So many office workers today wear contact lenses or specs.
