Pros

Pockets of exceptional talent: There are some highly knowledgeable professionals in the company. If you are lucky enough to work closely with them, they are willing to mentor and share their expertise.

Cons

Significantly below-average compensation: Salaries are well below the market and country average. The most frustrating part is that the company is fully aware of this, yet willfully refuses to take any action to fix it. Zero financial growth: Taking on more responsibilities or getting promoted does not translate to a salary increase. You have to fight tooth and nail for a measly 5% gross annual raise (some haven't seen a raise in couple years). The only real way to get a salary bump is to quit. Toxic overtime culture: Your efficiency and output during standard working hours mean absolutely nothing. The company equates productivity with long hours and only considers those who constantly work overtime to be "truly hard workers." Clueless Management: Almost all managers have no idea how much actual work is required to build a product. The only thing they excel at is constantly complaining that the deadlines you provide are permanently "off track." Severe gatekeeping: High-level employees across all departments actively block you from taking on projects. They hoard tasks and micromanage to make themselves seem indispensable, intentionally creating obstacles for others. Intense office politics and toxic culture: By far the worst place I have worked regarding office politics. You constantly have to fight to protect your projects from being stolen "under the hood" by colleagues who want to present your work as their own. It's a cutthroat environment where everyone is out to get each other. Exploitative management tactics: Managers intentionally trap newcomers by overloading them with work under the false pretense of giving them "ownership." No focus on employee retention: Hardworking employees are not valued. Managers only care about their own interests and building large teams simply to project power and inflate their egos. Working at Everypay requires extreme caution.

Pros

Supportive team, good atmosphere, and interesting data challenges to work on. Plenty of chances to learn from experienced people and improve technical skills. Good salary

Cons

Priorities can change quickly, which sometimes makes planning difficult. Some processes could be clearer and cross-team communication can be a bit slow.
