Pros

We are treated like family and we all work together as a team. Everyone is treated equally and our employer is the best person in the world to work for. Emily Church is very understanding and family is valued here. We know we are being led by someone with integrity and good moral values. I have said on many occasions that we are spoiled here. I could not find a better place to work anywhere.

Cons

As a constantly growing company, we experience growing pains often.

The owner/CEO, Emily. Poor Communication Lack of business structure Lack of foresight and planning for the future Too much fly-by- the-seat-of-your-pants thinking Too much emphasis on one brand over all others Too much emphasis on price and manufacturer sales, not enough emphasis on creating brand value and telling a brand story to relate to potential consumers Not enough thought given to what makes a brand last, what provides long-term success Everything happens in the short term here - there's no long-term thinking The only coherent strategy is sell more Kitchenaid - this is not a sustainable business model

Pros

I have been working with this company for 7+ years and enjoy coming to work every day and here's why. I've worked for numerous corporations both big and small and I've never found the sense of comradery among employees like I do here. The owner is selfless, very giving human being that values the people that work for her company. The ethos of this company is geared towards the customer's viewpoint and as a customer service advocate/manager that's right up my alley. The work to life balance is phenomenal, they are very flexible and understanding of family and situations that happen outside of work as we are all humans here and have lives/children/families. If there are problems everyone's (including the owners/management) doors are open to discussing issues freely. In regards to what we sell there's an appliance library so employees that are customer facing can use the items and be the best advocate for the particular brands we carry. I see a bright future for this company and it's only going to get better. We've recently upgraded to a beautiful new building and a massive warehouse recently which just goes to show the growth we have here. My hat goes off to everyone within this company that makes it a progressive, thriving business and it's full steam ahead!

Cons

Cons! There aren't any! The negatives I can think of would be detractors that come into this company expecting something we are not and then blast/personally attack people in reviews like you may see on here. Don't come into this company thinking you can fly by the seat of your pants and do nothing all day, we stay busy, we work hard! If you don't, you won't work out here. This isn't a social club where you can slack off all day, we stay busy, that's how companies thrive!
