Pretty typical devilcorp setup. I was told it wasn’t a sales job during the interview - total lie. They put you inside of supermarkets and force you to stand in freezing temperatures for 12 hours with one short break in an effort to collect donations for animal rights groups and other charities. Staff and managers all said that they didn’t care about the charities or know anything about them - they said to just use the same technique and memorize a couple facts about the companies and harass people until they donate. Their “intensive training program” really just means they throw you at people on your first day with no training or preparation. The culture is very cult-like (as with any MLM) and borderline illegal. They’ll try to vehemently deny this, but again, that’s very typical of companies like this. Needless to say, they didn’t have any employees who’d been at the company for more than a month or two, and I didn’t return for a second day on the job once I realized I’d fallen into a scam. Beware if you’re interviewing with them. There’s a reason there is no information about them online except for a vague website with no real information on it.
