Pros
Relaxed atmosphere. Most of the colleagues are sensible, professional, friendly, and with a decent knowledge level. Projects are interesting and usually of high impact. There is a lot of variety so you never get bored. You can pick your tools. You can express what you like and what you don't. There is room for you to navigate your career in the way you want. There are people in the company who can help you grow a lot. Initiative is rewarded and your voice is heard.
Cons
As always, projects will sometimes lack clear requirements. For some people this is OK but for others it's hell.
