Pros

They provide direct deposit for your pay, not much else to brag about.

Cons

Vague and unrealistic expectations. Managers are placed in roles they know nothing about and are just pawns for the out-of-touch upper management. You longevity is based solely on your ability to kiss back sides and know the right people.

Relatively stable company, expectations are transparent, so many opportunities to learn. Good benefits and time off package, flexibility to work from home.

Cons

Slow, corporate processes for access and making changes. Company seems afraid of letting go poor performing employees that are doing less than contractors.

Good pay and benefits, retirement plan, health insurance.

Cons

After the acquisition of BG&E, the sales staff was treated poorly. Most of the sales people in Chicago were forced to leave, as well as many sales people in the Kennett Square office. Employees were not treated with respect. Exelon Energy has a mafia mentality, if you're part of it, you're moving up; if you're not, developmental opportunities are very limited.
