Pros

Exiros is challenging. You will learn a lot, and be able to very quickly apply your skills to real life situations. You are thrust into an intense environment and given a lot of responsibility right off the bat. Training is essentially learn-as-you-go and you need to be able to adapt quickly and make decisions that have a direct impact on production from day one. You are compensated very well - total compensation is above average. You get one annual bonus based on personal performance and another based on company performance. Despite being in the oil and gas industry, Tenaris/Exiros is in a good financial position overall as a company and can often pull through difficult times, when competitors fail.

Cons

Exiros has the potential to be a great place to work, but the complete lack of work-life balance makes it unbearable. You will never finish all the assigned tasks, and then you are ridiculed for not doing so. They are extremely understaffed, and management expects one person to do the work of 4-5 people. Upper management recognizes they are understaffed and actively avoids doing anything to address the problem. In recent months the footprint of the company has almost doubled, and yet the size of the procurement team has actually shrunk. The culture is toxic, and there is very little room for advancement unless you are from Italy or Argentina and speak Spanish. A lot of very smart people have their ideas dismissed or achievements go unrecognized simply because of management's perception of them. Attitudes and behaviors of management and end users, at times, is unprofessional. Processes and procedures are inefficient, and there is poor communication among internal stakeholders. As a result sometimes the simplest tasks are the ones that take the longest to complete. IT tools are outdated and repetitive tasks must be done manually.

Pros

Working hours are flexible. Many come in early/leave early and many come in late/leave late. Pretty good benefits. I can't really think of anything else that is positive about this place but Glassdoor requires 20 words of pros.

Cons

Very low compensation compared to other similar positions in the industry. You will never (emphasize never) receive competitive raises. Management is terrible. Turnover is very high and nothing is done to correct this. People at the bottom are viewed as replaceable. Goals are unrealistic so nobody is motivated to try to reach them. Even if they are reached, bonuses and raises are SO laughable (less than inflation), if they even come at all. They are based on performance of Tenaris and Ternium (mother companies), so working hard won't even benefit you. Spare yourself the agony.
