My clientele is quickly growing into more of an upscale clientele base, and I don't feel the brand has what it takes to help me maintain this image.
From the brands color selection, logo, outdated back of house systems, and training, as a millennial I feel they're always playing catchup and not truly abreast to what is current.
I know every franchise is different, but ours seems dated and "uncool" for such a hip town as the one I work in. I've already easily out performed 90% of the agents who work there, in my first year alone. This wasn't due to amazing training, but good ole hard work, creative thinking, and a broker who always took my question. I need a place where I'm surrounded by top producers so I'll push myself further.
The fees add up! Holy cow! The incentive program of bringing on agents doesn't seem all that impressive when we lack so much, and I'm almost embarrassed to say I'm affiliated with the company.
One of the owners of the local franchise is a complete nightmare.
