Pros
- very remote friendly - nearly flat hierarchy (small, nearly autonomous teams) - lot of freedom - very open source friendly - not afraid to try new things (within reason) - skilled co-workers - exciting domain/challenges/tech - bi yearly one week off-site - multiple payed trips to office per year, if desired - conf attendance - good salary I personally really like working there. I think most people are really good at what they do and nice to work with, there are a lot of opportunities to learn. Upper management is open to suggestions, both organizational and tech wize. Generally I believe things in general improved overtime, at the tech level I saw some really positive changes this past year and that seems to be the current trend.
Cons
Not much really. Let just say that with covid some perks are temporarily gone. You have to do support and on-call, at various level depending on role. This is compensated but can be difficult to mix with personal life sometimes (oncall is 24/7), but I am not sure it's mandatory.
