1. Poor work-life balance: The boss loves to brainwash employees to work overtime for free and take ownership of finishing projects without punching the clock. Employees will get phone calls or texts during the night and on weekends from the boss.
2. No respect: Employees are considered inferior. The boss tends to emotionally abuse employees. The boss claims to know almost everything and nothing would be considered professional except the boss's major.
3. Bloodsucking workshop: long work hours, minimum pay with almost no benefits except for basic dental and vision plan after 1 year of employment.
4. Boss has little to zero knowledge of running a business: CEO does not know how to run a project. No dedicated technical manager understands any technical issues due to the high turnover rate.
5. Unethical manufacturing practice violating the GMP rules: The CEO asked employees to swap the label/packaging for products without a stability test. Labeling products without a justified expiry date.
6. Unstable business plans: Senior management of the company has a whimsical sense of volatile decision-making, which changes every day based on the CEO's judgment. The boss wants employees to multitask for things that have nothing to do with the job position. For example, a QA will be asked to perform warehouse manager tasks, and a marketing professional will be asked to hire production workers and draft product descriptions on the packaging.
7. Lack of funding: "We have no money so we need to do things without funding" is a motto employees hear from the boss on daily basis. Due to the poor management and financial plan this company is always under the shadow of a deficit. The boss would refuse any business or marketing plan that requires spending money.
