They'll promise you the world. Make sure to get it in writing.
Pros
Everyone outside of management was awesome and some customers are even enjoyable to speak with. They let you pick the music for the room sometimes. The job itself actually looks very good on a resume. Work-life balance was actually pretty good. Apparently tech support hated the on-call support phone due to the heavy restrictions it placed on them and the very little pay they'd get for it and they'd been going back and forth with management for months about this but outside of that, it was pretty good. You get to dress casually every day.
Cons
Management cussing out employees is normal. No upward growth for employees. They'll give you a "promotion" in title but don't expect much in terms of pay. $12.50/hour is a joke for what they put you through. Don't bother talking to management about pay/overtime. They use cameras to micromanage and listen to conversations. Get everything in writing. Many employees would agree with that sentiment as it happens very often. All of the above results in a very high turnover rate. Felt like someone was leaving every month pre-covid.
