Horrible Communication and Organization
Pros
You get your birthday off and paid and 401K company match is immediately vested other than that I am still trying to find the positives
Cons
They have the absolute worst communication I have ever seen anywhere I've ever worked before!! When a merger happens it should feel like a merger NOT A TAKEOVER. Going into it every single question from the former Bonaventure employees should have been anticipated yet the main response was, " I don't know we'll get back to you" ...on questions ANYONE would have during a process when one company basically takes over another.. but it was just a merger, so we're told. We are getting the brunt end of every single resident complaint when the company messed up so much in the software change and when the residents have questions, we have no answers. No answers because we don't know either. No training, thrown to the wolves. It's okay though because they are giving us a pizza party, right? ...and send us a survey about how we are feeling during this "merger" . Are they going to do anything about all the negative, but very real and truthful responses they received? Doubt it.. not to mention we are all just a number now .. our names mean nothing! We are just "the (insertpropertynameandposition).. @fcamres.com." The do not care about work/life balance and want to micromanage so much that we waste our time on redundant reports when there is actual work to be done. They can say we are all in this together, but they aren't the ones dealing with harsh residents on a daily basis because we have no information to give them because we get none ourselves. The PTO plan is one of the lowest I've seen at any job for, what anyone who has even been in property management knows, is one of the most draining careers. There is just a lot of negative causing stress and anxiety that could have been lessened with better preparation and communication. Especially since this has been in the works for the last year.
