Where do I even begin... stay away from this boiler room company at all costs. They are internally cannibalizing all talent that walks in that door. The company itself hired me under the assumption that they needed a "collateral analyst" on the financial operations team. Little did I know, that after two weeks once I have caught the company up to speed on administrative and small technical work, that they had no need for me. They hired me to essentially use me, waste my time & money. The company culture is a joke, there actually is none, and the employee's seem very distant, and always irritated. I am actually glad that they "no longer had any work for me" due to the fact that the position was a dead end and was not benefiting my long term career goals. Also I would like to add, there seems to be little to no room for advancement within the company. If you are looking for a company to start your financial career, look elsewhere.

FGI regrets that there appears to have been a misunderstanding in the employee’s expectations in regards to the duration of this role. The candidate was placed with FGI specifically by an agency that recruits temporary employees, which was FGI’s only and immediate need at the time of his placement. The candidate was told that he would be considered for a full-time position depending on his performance and the need of the business at the time. Unfortunately, there were no full-time opportunities at the time, as well as a mismatch in the skill set required from the candidate for the success of this position, which also contributed to the termination of the placement.

No micromanagement, nice offices and location. Normal 9-5 just get your work done.

Where do I begin? To say this place is unprofessional would be an understatement. First of all management is very shallow with appearance. Women MUST wear heels-IS THIS LEGAL? They pride themselves in employing "good looking people". They always talk about "open door policy", and "SUPER open communication" but this is not true. If they do not like you, you are out without a warning AT ALL. They are very kind to your face but it is all fake. The interview process was a breeze! Questions were so easy to answer, "How do you stay organized?", "How do you remain proactive?" The people who interview you are totally irrelevant since they are not the ones who decide you are not fit for the position. It truly makes no sense. Place is like a library, you can hear someone breathe.

There is much to say about this company - it starts from the top-down. From the lack of respect from management, to the weird relationship management has with women in the office, to the constant semi-discreet meetings company will have. The compensation structure is the ultimate slap in the face as well - hard work is not rewarded. With no defined bonus plan, the company literally stole from employees. From what I hear in the industry, the company is now cannibalizing the relationships built with transactions...what a surprise.
