Pros

The people who work there can be wonderful.

Cons

Terrible benefits Management is meh at best Lot of the other teams are overworked. Overall - FPW has some incredible people who work there. But in the long run, people get promoted quickly because no one really sticks around long enough for them to have longer lasting employees. People either quit or are fired at the drop of a hat, they don't have good benefits including PTO, sick, or dental, and their poor planning and willingness to let clients walk all over them results in teams being overworked, under appreciated, and stressed. They have a few major clients that they put all their eggs into one basket for, the CEO tends to either be completely hands off on clients or meddle like it's no one's business, and management feels like it's run by a bunch of people under the age of 40 because it is. The only higher up who was actually decent and nice was the Art Director, yet they never utilized him the way they should have. I would not recommend this place as somewhere to work. You'll meet some very amazing people there but they don't seem to be improving on what they need to.

Pros

C-suite members hire very well and the broader team is full of legit pros in their fields. Would be a great place to work if all upper management was replaced with seasoned, experienced professionals in the creative industry with actual technical backgrounds.

Cons

The main issue is at the very top. C-suite members do not listen to the talent they hire, who are the experts in their field. There is a concerted effort to go against the grain (ie. industry standard) to serve the meaningless and confusing "unagency" ideology the c-suite members have been clinging to since the beginning of the company. Because the founders are "self-taught", the lack of institutional and technical knowledge at the decision-making level makes for a misguided and haphazard approach to fairly simple creative projects. The leadership is not team-first (no empathy towards internal team), which leads to resentment and extremely high turnover.

Pros

Free snacks, some cool people

Cons

Constantly shifting timelines, competing demands from higher ups, unrealistic expectations. Don't work here.
