Pros

Nice office. Some friendly staff to work with.

Cons

Everything. Legitimately everything other than the two things mentioned in the pros. - Executives love talking trash about employees the moment that person leaves the room. It's one of their favorite past times. Morale be damned. - The product is utter garbage. Nothing works, departments are under staffed (partly due to the tight wallet and partly due to the incredibly high turnover), executives lie to customers on a daily basis and encourage staff to do the same. - Executive team is full of arrogant cocky people... and for the love of me, I can not figure out what they have to be cocky about. - As mentioned above, turnover is outrageously high. So if you like your coworkers, don't get used to them being around. - They encourage you to speak up about problems but when you do, you're ignored, laughed at, or fired. - Speaking of fired, they fire the BEST people and promote the brown-nosers with zero experience. - If you're interviewing, please please please know that everything you see is smoke and mirrors. You might even like it for the first 6 months or so. You'll hear the promising speeches and see the new game-changing plans but it will all fall through. I worked there long enough to see it happen over and over and over again. You too will eventually see the pattern. You'll hear the same lies spewed at new employees. You'll see all the failures and cover ups. You'll watch talented, hard working, honest people get fired or quit. You will question why and how a company could be so horribly managed. Trust me when I say this company is going nowhere fast. Management is terrible, the product is useless, and good people do not work there long. Your time, peace of mind, and effort are much better spent elsewhere.

Thank You For Teaching Me What I Hate In A Company

Pros

By far the best people (employees, not management) you will ever work with. And, great views from the office windows, even though it makes no sense to rent out that floor given the budget. But hey, what do I know?

Cons

Every day I kept telling myself it couldn’t get worse, and I was genuinely surprised that it always did. In general, there is a severe lack of work-life balance, each employee has extremely unattainable goals set on them, and the micromanagement is palpable. I was even “advised” not to take too long of a vacation. Honestly, there is just a general lack of heart in the company. I never felt like anyone truly cared to help me achieve my goals. I was promised a promotion, my boss discussed my wages with one of my peers.. I even reached out to three executives for help and nothing came if it. I’ve never felt less supported in my career than I did when I worked here. This place broke my spirit. If you do decide to work here - you can speak up about what you need in order to do your job better, or give your ideas to management - but nothing will come of it. Honestly, they’ll probably talk down to you like you’re a child. The CEO is extremely condescending and has no problem with cussing at his employees. How can anyone forget that racist joke he told in the all-hands? And then, later, him laughing about the fact that someone mentioned it on Glassdoor? Tasteless. The worst part, in my opinion, is that not one single client is 100% happy with the product. Every client has a complaint or an existing issue, and they can’t get ahold of support, because the dept is severely understaffed. I spent most of my time apologizing to the client on behalf of our product. Seriously, that became my whole job. Do you really want that as your job? There is a reason this place has a turnover rate of 60%. I’ve seen tenured, knowledgeable employees get fired because management would rather pay less for temps in their place. I’ve seen multiple mass layoffs. If you put your two weeks in, you might or might not be asked to leave immediately - just depends on the CEOs mood at the time (especially if you’re female). You’d be more likely to have the same coworkers for an extended period of time working at Walmart.

Process issues and symptom management

Pros

Great coworker. You will undoubtedly make great friends and there is a strong chance your immediate manager will be excellent.

Cons

There is a massive disconnect between the upper management and front line positions. There seems to be a tendency to attempt to treat symptoms of an issue rather than solve the underlying problem, and real problem solvers seem to be leaving the company in droves. There is suddenly less understanding about the industry as a whole and not much willingness to invest in making the customers happy.
