Pros

Incredible opportunities to reduce the cost and increase the reliability of new and old heat networks, making a meaningful difference to energy consumption and residents quality of life. Regular internal training sessions from internal and external specialists to develop your knowledge and skills.

Cons

Limited WFH for less experienced staff. All for good reason, and with growing flexibility over time.

Pros

The company spends a lot of time developing its graduate engineers - during my graduate scheme I hugely developed my technical understanding of heat networks, and was also given many opportunities to get involved with the wider industry. Also, being a smaller company, the young engineers are able to take on responsibility early on. The job is a mix of office work and site work. Spending time on site has been a great way to learn, and its nice to mix-up desk work with practical work.

Cons

No major downsides so far!

Can be a challenging sector to work in!
