SP's Are Gold

Pros

If your a sales partner who is able to sell more than 30 homes in a year, you'll be just fine in this highly competitive "loving" team. I actually believe they've built something that could be amazing if they stood by what they preach, but the environment has become toxic. HOWEVER they do pay well for you to keep your mouth shut if you've been treated poorly.

Cons

If you are not a sales partner on the team, then you're just the dirt that leadership and the sales partners walk on. The local loving realtors are only loving to people who have houses to sell and they couldn't care less about the people who work the day to day to help them succeed. They have an incredibly high turn over rate for employees and after each person leaves they send an email saying they weren't a good fit for the team. They preach how they started from the bottom not being able to afford milk while offering low wages for the crap you are expected to do, even if its not a part of your job. Go in wearing a hazmat suit, cause that place is toxic as hell.

Work twice as hard for less pay

Pros

Some good people, Good Marketing, if they get back to the culture they once had it may become a good environment again.

Cons

For in house staff they want "Experts" in their respective fields but pay a pittance, no wonder the turnover for in house staff is constant. For sales staff they want "A players" who will work 80 hours a week if needed but then take the majority of your commission because the in house services provided. If you are a Realtor, you can make more somewhere else, if you are admin/staging/photo you can have half the stress by working somewhere else. Very cult like atmosphere that makes you feel like you are a part of something important until you make a mistake and they rake you over the coals for it. Decisions are made in the echo chamber of the upper leadership with Mark Faris sending recommendations from his palace in Florida (never present for day-to-day but still wants to be in full control of operations) without consultation of the actual people conducting the work, so policies and how to complete work is constantly changing with no rhyme or reason given as to why decisions were made, just do your job and make us money. Step out of line and you will find out how fast they actually value you. Leave of your own accord because you find another pursuit and see how fast they slam the door behind you on the way out. This company is good at selling itself, much to the detriment of those who are not management or part of the Faris inner circle (and don't be fooled there is 100% an inner circle of sales staff who get rights and privileges not offered to all).

Significant Shortcomings

Pros

While there were a few positive aspects of working at this company, such as high-quality team merchandise, annual team events, and the opportunity to meet some genuinely lovely people, these seemingly bright spots were overshadowed by some significant shortcomings. The team merch, while of high quality, was often just a superficial perk that failed to address the deeper issues within the company. The annual team events, though touted as a positive, felt more like a band-aid solution to distract from the lack of substantial growth opportunities and fair compensation. While I did encounter some wonderful colleagues, it became clear that even their positivity couldn't mask the overall toxic work environment and ineffective management. Ultimately, these fleeting benefits failed to outweigh the company's glaring problems, leaving me with an overall negative impression of my time there. It's important to consider these cons alongside the pros before making any judgments about this employer.

Cons

Work-Life Balance Ignored: Company prioritizes its benefit over employee well-being. Unrealistic Expectations: Constantly set high, unattainable goals causing stress and burnout. Questionable Culture: Mandatory chanting of company anthem during team meetings. Unfulfilled Promises: Bonuses occasionally promised but conveniently forgotten. Unpaid Overtime: Exploitative practice of not compensating for extra work hours. Toxic Environment: Negative atmosphere fueled by pitting employees against each other.
