Pros

Overall, there were some great people that worked there including one of the managers who has been there for a long time and is still working there. Great location in Vermont, very scenic, lots of nature and work life balance felt okay.

Cons

Little to no direction from managers regarding my role. Felt like more of an intern or assistant position. No creative freedom or opportunities to make content or come up with new ideas etc. Harshly offered a lower role after a few months or to be let go. I ended up leaving.

Pros

Farmhouse is a really lovely community of people who love what they do and their work shows it. Due to the small team size there is immense opportunity to learn and grow in many different areas of interest quickly. There is a beauty to working somewhere the values the art of pottery and is willing to invest in their artisans in a way that isn’t often seen. I have grown here exponentially in a way that I wouldn’t have anywhere else. I am grateful for all the learning opportunities.

Cons

Due to the small team you often have to be scrappy, which is an amazing learning opportunity but can be tiring over time.
