Pros

Pros is definitely the colleagues. Potentially because everyone bond over the stress of work but political wise, some people tend to point fingers at someone else to blame when problem arises internally. Not sure if you count this as a pro but you’ll learn things that are out of your jobscope too.

Cons

- work during your off/leave (technically you’re working from home during your off/leaves) - “we are all family” no no no massive NO. They will use this line to manipulate you to work more than you should - be prepared to enter work as early as 8am and leave as late as 12am because they ALWAYS launch new projects at the last minute without any meetings and the operations team will always be confused at the new products launched when they enter work the following day - Their programme were done virtually but some odd reasons, you still have to head down to office. Unsure whether it is the same for now. - bosses don’t care about your opinion. In your face, they tell you nice things. Moment you leave their room, they will talk about it, invalidating your opinions. I have PTSD and Anxieties every since I left the company. Very good company to work in, if you planned to start learning how to NOT be dependent on your phones because they will text you even past midnight and until today, I get scared whenever my phone rings when someone texts/calls me.

Pros

1. You get to learn everything and not limited to your department. 2. Shift based, but work time is flexible. 3. Learn about healthy food with the classes available as they sell it at SGD200 and above for a cost of only SGD10 4. Small company so you get to climb the ledder pretty fast. 5. Gets to travel SG-MY-SG

Cons

1. No other opinions matter. If the bosses think/assume that way, then that is the way to do work. 2. Bosses want the company to run on its own, but the bosses are the face of the company. So if they are away or sick, the company wont move and if the company is not moving, no money is coming in and if no money is coming in, then the bosses blame the staff. you can see the logic here? 3. Ridiculous programs that targeting your mother. The kind where if your mother sign up for this, you will be furious because it is a waste of money. 4. Selling programs on Sunday, but everything is done in the super last minute matter. And yes, all decide bu the boss. 5. Always say that everything has been aligned and discussed so there is no such thing as last minute. but they are the one who always ask the staff to change last minute. a joke. 6. benefits? RM60 medical claim monthly where can cover our consultation clinic only. a joke. you will hear bosses keep talking about bringing staff overseas. yes just listen, never trust the words. 7. they will always say 'if you have issue, you can come to me'. but when we come, we will get attacked by bringing up the issue. 8. finance related depends on boss too. if you need to pay something huge, you need to wait for the bosses to approve. no point of having finance department. 9. If you read all the glassdoor reviews, it is all about the boss. because that's the truth. they want outcome to be Chanel, but their cost is always Daiso. They will not take these review seriously and still blame the staff. There must be something wrong if the turnover rate is high, but hey cant blame self, gotta blame the staff. 10. no WFH at all and everyone needs to be in the office. Mind you, that all business and sales come through online. yes, a joke. 11. ridiculous environment to work with. even though its flexible, you will work extra hours and no OT. bosses give us coffee and thought thats the best welfare that a boss could give. 12. If Malaysia staff travels to SG, they let the staff stay on n hourly rate dodgy hotel.

Pros

Acceptable pay for fresh grads, that's about it. Note: Acceptable, not great. Colleagues are lovely people, bonding together against a common enemy.

Cons

If you're having doubts, trust your heart. It's absolutely miserable, here's why: 1. Do you dream of having work life balance? Well good on you! You get none! Get ready to contribute (sacrifice) your weekends, nights, and sleep for really really tight deadlines! Since it's a startup, the 2 at the top expects you to care about the company as much as they do, your lives will start to revolve around working here! 2. On the topic of really horrible deadlines, this company will introduce you to workflow like no other. Planning for an event 1 week before the date itself, finalise a project that's supposed to be executed the very next day? These are normal occurences within the company, so don't be sad if you won't make any plans outside of work, because you can't! 3. Let's talk about accountability and tangible rewards. Sure, you own your projects, you're involved in every step of the way. Here are the two outcomes: If you fail, you'll get belittled, insulted, absolutely berated, and have a target on your back (albeit subtly). If you do a good job, "good job!" is all you get! Oh and don't even think about getting a good bonus here, they (the owners) skim on employees so that they'll get another multi-million dollar property that they can brag about. 4. Integrity, ethics, wait what are we talking about again? I'll set you a scene, you're selling overpriced products and services to middle aged (mainly) women, by exploiting their fears of death, loneliness, poverty, you name it. I'm not even sure if they have the proper accreditations to sell products labeled to function as healthcare. It's an alternative medicine company, backed by, idk the power of the mind? Oh yeah, the boss is a Dr (PhD from god knows where, not medicine) If you think the money (for a fresh grad) is worth it, let me ask you this: Will you sell yourself for 3 - 3.5k a month? If you're an experienced salaryperson, don't even think about it.
