Pros
The product itself has genuine potential, provided the company had the right leadership team in place.
Cons
- It is, quite frankly, a hostile working environment. During the interview process they dress it up as “transparency” and “direct feedback”, but in reality it comes across as awkward, passive-aggressive behaviour that starts with the founders and filters down through management. - They appear to have very little idea how to hire effectively. The interview process was shambolic, and they seem far more inclined to sack people than retain them. - You will be expected to work 80-hour weeks, including in the UK where that sort of expectation is generally viewed as wholly unreasonable and unethical. - They seem to care more about DEI than anything else. That could be seen as a positive, but it’s the only area where they appear to make any real effort.
