Pros

Great people with passion for games

Cons

Out of all the places I've worked at, I probably felt the most drained, stressed, and unmotivated here due to poor leadership. It's really difficult to feel motivated at this company when all decision-making procedures are dependent on the CEO and teams in China when we're creating and releasing products for the US. Another thing. although all of the coworkers were great and had genuine passion for the games they were building, but very few had prior experience (including the CEO). This resulted in confusing/unreasonable demands by the CEO and delays in processes getting approvals/responses from China. This system just didnt work as a small startup and the people in charge were out of touch with the audience we were building the games for.

Pros

There were some cool, nice people (that are NOT the CEO)

Cons

-Chinese work culture. This means you're held to unreasonable expectations that aren't possible, expectation to work work work -Poor management. The CEO is lacking much experience but what makes it worse is that he expects people to listen to his advice. He even pushed the Product team to create a change in the game BASED ON HIS ADOLESCENT SON'S FEEDBACK. -Sketchy business practices. They used to farm interns for free labor while dangling the carrot of getting a H1B visa in front of them, for months and for some even 1+ years. -More on the CEO: have seen him have outbursts and regularly shows frustration, anger, disappointment
