Cons
If you’re looking for a career within the fitness industry, look elsewhere. You’ll be paid minimum wage for a “premium” service as a personal trainer and health and wellness coach. Outside of this you are expected to spend the majority of your working day cleaning toilets and running the shop. Balancing between signing members up at the desk and scrubbing floors all on your own between the late hours of the evening. Hours are unsocial-able and inconsistent. Asides from this Never once received a pay slip and other staff members consistently failed their duties to support keeping the gym in good quality leaving you working twice as hard picking up their slack.
