Pros

Unfortunately only some of the employees are the positive side of the company.

Cons

The CEO (with management, if you can call 2 people a management) is very unprofessional and does not value employees at all. The CEO is micromanaging the work of everyone he can, and makes those employees unproductive in that way. Everyone who works there is afraid to go home after 8 working hours (not including the lunch break), so they would not be fired, and everyone seems to be working a lot of overtime without any compensation (every day from 9:00 until at least 18:30-19:00). Company is burning people extremely fast, and everyone seems to be underpaid and overloaded. Company calls itself a "startup", although they exist for more than 6 years, only so that people could be paid as little as possible under that excuse. Business side of the company does not really exist, and sales "department" (one guy) is not creating any profit, so the future is bleak. There is no strategy at all for everything that the company is doing, so nobody except for the CEO understands what and when is going to happen. A lot of people who are coming to work in the company for the short period of time are pushed by the "management" to give a good rating here, while still in trial period, so you should take all these positive ratings here with caution, because nobody will give lesser rating if they are expecting to get a job. Office is practically one bigger room without any aircon where approximately 15 people should work, and the office was never really cleaned. Company is also offering "accomodation" that is drastically below any standard in Germany, but as an employee you will not have to pay too much. At least until they decide to kick you out because there is some other worker from far away country coming for unpaid trial. Small advice for those who decide to try anyway: don't be tricked to spend your free time during the trial period with "management", but with other people in the company, and ask them if all this here is true.

Dear former employee, Our approach to software development is not suitable for everyone. We focus on maximising the productivity of individuals by giving them freedom, responsibility and challenges to overcome. This is the reason we have such a thorough recruitment process to identify candidates who will fit well within our organisation. Despite this, we still encounter individuals who during the probationary period, prove themselves unsuitable. As part of our recruitment trial, we also encourage candidates to spend their time with the other members of the company and verify the state of affairs outside of the management's perspective. The company offers temporary accommodation for onboarding purposes. New employees will stay variable amounts of time until they find their own places. We strive to the best of our abilities to provide a suitable environment and provide professional cleaning services amongst other benefits while the costs are below the market rate. Our method of organisation requires active and frequent communication which traditional working environments can misinterpret as a form of supervision. This is an essential aspect of agile and lean modern business methodology. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours and hope you will find a place suitable for your personality and talents. Kind regards, fleetster

unethical and boring place to work

Pros

- you can learn to work under high pressure

Cons

- micro management (people cannot interact with one another and should be facing their computer screens at all times) - no autonomy or decision power to any employee, regardless of their position and expertise; CEO controls everything - they want people to work extra hours with no extra payment, as part of a team "culture" - the salary is already lower than the market average - they don't value soft skills among employees, so the work environment is boring and tense (people look like robots, the ones that decide to stay in the company)

Dear former employee, Our company is not a place for everyone. It is an environment that works very well for certain individuals, but not so much for others. We appreciate your feedback but would like to clarify certain things. First, we are not certain what you have in mind when you mention unethical, we try our best to be as fair as we can with our employees. Regarding pay and working hours, we are very much still a technical startup trying to find our way. The environment is unusually intense because of practical survival constraints. If maximizing your pay for the least working hours possible is your interest, then this is indeed the wrong place for you. Regarding micro-management and autonomy, I would beg to differ. The people who thrive in this company are those who do not require management and who exhibit a high level of independence. Those who lack these do not generally last long specifically because they require management. Regarding decision powers or soft skills, I would also beg to differ. Our culture is quite open and transparent whilst engaging people from across business or technical in the decision process. Those individuals who do not participate in the decision process for some reason, do not stay long. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours.

Pros

- Talented developers - Product is great - free coffee and juice - kitchen at the office - CTO is very experienced person

Cons

- One of the big Cons of this company is the CEO, he has huge trust issues for all team members, and he never appreciate people. he only care about paying less to get more profit. - They always say we have nice working environment with social events but most of this social events are fake and not social at all. - Salaries is way below the market - the company apartment was not pros at all because they negotiate so hard to make your salary down and provide you apartment, and you apartment will be dependent on your working with them.

We are glad that in the time that you worked for us, you discovered many of the great benefits we provide. Indeed, we have talented, devoted and motivated developers, devops and designers comprising an excellent team. We have a great and exciting product aiming to revolutionize the mobility industry. We have a pleasant and open environment with good coffee and healthy natural juices. Our highly diverse and international team (~10 countries) often use the kitchen to cook recipes from all over the world. Our CTO and senior management are experienced, dedicated and hardworking individuals. Unfortunately (or fortunately), we are a startup with a very intense environment. We offer a demanding, high pressure and challenging experience which is not suitable for everyone. Individuals with self-confidence issues or low competency do not generally last in the company beyond the probation period of 6 months. As a startup, our financial resources are limited. We offer the best salaries we can afford. However, we follow a model of sustainable growth. All of the company's revenues get invested in salaries, but we do not spend beyond our means. The average salary in the company has increased considerably year over year alongside the growth of the business itself. We thank you for your consideration and wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
