Pros

Co-workers.... That's all. Co-workers make your time worthwhile.

Cons

If you like to be micromanaged and treated like a worker bee. Then this place is for you! Managers are a joke. Directors are useless. You are not allowed to mingle with people from other departments. It's frowned upon. Each department likes to act as it's own company and don't work well with each other.

Pros

I have been working for this company for one year now and love it! I have never before had the good fortune to work with such an inspirational group of people all pulling together to ensure both their own and Flyers' success. I look forward to coming to work every day (ok, maybe not Monday) because every day offers a new challenge. Every Manager has an "open door" policy and all have taken the time to answer any questions I have and never act as if I'm wasting their time. Also, job openings are posted in-house first and there are always plenty of learning opportunities.

Cons

Yeah, it's the salaries. However, working for a company that truly appreciates what you're doing makes up for some of that and they are certainly very generous with their contributions to all of the benefit plans.

Pros

Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401K, decent coffee

Cons

The IT department here is little more than a chop shop. The business strategy of management is to hire underpaid contractors to do what they lack the skills for and then steal the intellectual property. The ineptitude of the IT department has led to fuel being sold for $1 cent, costing the company millions due to a simple error. Management is clueless and unskilled, be prepared for micromanagement. If you can sense the fear from coworkers, probably not a good place to be working. Due to management, there is a very high turnover rate. Working here is not a career. if you have not moved on to better things in one or two years you have made a mistake. You will not be paid a fair wage for your work here.
