Payment issues - Every payment is late. You have to keep following up with them or else they don't pay salary. When they finally decide to pay, they start bargaining about the salary (we hired you to do X and Y work but since we didn't have Y work, I think we will only 10% of the salary). If you work on March, the payment of that comes at the end of April month. No structure - There are no holidays or paid leaves. I was hired for 4 hours of work and despite working 8-9 hours (sometimes even 10 to finish some work) and working on weekends, when the time came to pay my salary, they will find some small work that is left out and say that I was unproductive and left out so much work so they will not pay the full amount. They disabled my email ID, then told me the next day that I have been fired and that I should resign in an email, then gave me work to finish saying that if you don't finish all this, there will be some problems in salary. No exit interview. They just got frustrated because of some company client's rant and fired me to appease them. Then a few days later they realized that there is a lot of work that I was handling every day and they couldn't do it themselves so they tried to hire me again. Too much work - They say that I can work even 2 hours every day as long as the work is done they don't care about what time I work or how much time I take. Then after hiring me they gave me about 15 hours of work and called me unproductive because I didn't finish all of it every day. They made me work weekends and at very odd times like until 2 am. I took 2 days' leave because of urgent family issues and after a week they fired me saying that I was not at all productive.. during my leave.. even though I was on so many calls during my leave that I actually didn't take any full day leave at all. After all that, they said that since I took so many leaves they will cut the salary of 7 days even though I took 2 days leave. Toxic environment - They take people at their face value and do not care about the facts. If someone has been in the organization for a longer time than me is assumed to be right and everything is considered my fault because they can't do anything wrong. They have all the client calls after 12 am so after working the whole day, I was expected to be on call for a few more hours and then finish the work that was assigned to me on the call. There is so much politics in play here. People just keep making new group chats so they can ask in front of everyone why this work is not done and that is not done. Something that was assigned the previous night at 1 am. They also talk privately among themselves and post screenshots of that conversation in the group to hurt people unnecessarily. One of my subordinates called me a child and incapable of leadership and my boss showed that to me. I see no reason why they did but these kinds of things happen on regular basis. Conclusion - If you don't mind over working, bargaining for your salary even after you are fired, and a lot of office politics, then this is a good company to work for a month or two. More than that will drain you emotionally and physically.
