What a Nightmare

Pros

Definitely Not Advisable to Work Here

Cons

The owner is not capable of running a jewelry business. Even when you talk with him he knows very little about anything but talks like he is an expert. He is definitely not that. Poor communication skills and horrible name in the industry. This owner ran the business down and it has lost any small credibility it once had. Stay away from this business is my advice.

Pros

I can’t think of really any pros when it comes to Fortuna

Cons

I don’t like to write negative reviews but Fortuna is really a big nightmare to work for. The owner is totally incompetent in his skill set to lead but has this great opinion about himself. I’m not kidding when I say this place is a toxic nightmare.

Pros

a steady check sometimes. That's about it.

Cons

If you take a job working with this auction house, you are gambling with your reputation. It is all problems, drama, law suits, customers harassing you because the owners do not pay their consignors. The interview process is a joke with owners owners having zero clue as to what they are doing. With all the options in the jewelry business, don't be fooled by Fortuna, you will regret it like most people who made the wrong decision of working here.
