Pros

Lots of opportunities to craft your own role and follow your interests. There's room to learn more and move up as the company grows. Good performance is recognized. Coworkers are smart and pleasant. No micro-management (see below). Flexible WFH, hours, etc aren't just for show, they're practiced from the top-down.

Cons

If you need micro-management or hand-holding, you won't get that here. Everyone is expected to own their responsibilities, produce quality work, and learn from mistakes. If you don't raise your hand when you need help, your team may not notice. These are cons for some workstyles, but pros for others.

Pros

Easily the most laid back work environment I've been in. Everyone takes care of their business and have been more than happy to help with anything. Never felt like I was being micromanaged. FSM has had tons of fun events throughout my time here; anything from going to Top Golf to having office parties. Everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly.

Cons

We have introduced a few more applications to the mix. For example: Betterworks for goals, and harvest for time logging. Despite that are pool of apps offer great benefits as far as communication and career growth, it does feel like we have too many applications to go to on a daily basis. That being said I'm not sure if there is a way to consolidate all these apps to one.

Pros

Being a small agency, everyone on the team gets to work in a variety of roles to produce the best client outcomes. Team members get direct communication with company leaders and all opinions are valued. Each day provides a new set of problems that need to be solved, so the work always stays interesting. The leaders of the company have done a great job of fostering openness and a team environment in which everyone is accountable to one another. The work environment is great (flexible hours, open floor plan, stand up desks for all, stocked kitchen, etc).

Cons

Because the work is changing every day, it's not a job you can just come in, sit for 8 hours, zone out and leave. To make an impact and move up in the company, you have to be self-motivated and constantly producing valuable work. A lot of the work is technical, so there are large parts of the day where there is intense focus in the office. The work is very detail-oriented and results-driven, so you have to always stay diligent and focused.
