Disappointing outlook

Pros

Property owners who are appreciative of your help and want to develop long-term relationships with the property managers.

Cons

There has been a lot of instability, especially over the past 6 months, regarding constant staff changes and clients leaving, which creates a lot of extra work for the team. I often have no idea who to go to for what due to the instability of the staff.

Pretty terrible

Pros

Pretty good pay but terrible health plan

Cons

Corporate management does not care about the residential division and its issues whatsoever. The entire division is going downhill leading to no support, losing great employees, and the benefits are not good. Finding out a better or new way to do something is not listened to or embraced. No consistency across properties. Yardi is set up extremely badly with so many glitches. If you have a question, someone at corporate will be there to give you a rude response. Just work somewhere else unless you need a quick job but expect to be on your own.

In regard to pay and benefits, we evaluate our compensation and benefits package annually and strive to stay competitive with the market. As our organization continues to grow rapidly, we have worked to standardize processes across each division to support our employees and to provide consistent quality service to our customers. All employees should feel confident that they have support from leadership. The current leadership team is invested in growing and supporting all divisions. We are proud of our Open Door Policy and encourage employees to reach out with suggestions, questions or concerns - that is how we improve as a company.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We can only improve by understanding the experience and feelings of the employees who have worker or continue to work for us. Our turnover rate for employees is actually quite a bit lower than the industry average, and as a third-party management company, our retention of clients also beats industry standards by a significant amount. We understand that if the loss of a contract impacted you, these numbers don't matter. We do not always have another opportunity for the staff at that property and those situations are difficult. Founders 3 ownership and management are proud of the culture and sense of family that have been the heart of our business model for 25+ years.
