Pros

The team of department managers and hourly staff are 5-STAR! Compensation was fair.

Cons

Agree with previous statements that the owners treat people like “the help.” They have the housekeeping staff clean and maintenance team fix their personal homes (and other work ventures) on work time with other duties to complete for the day without any additional compensation. They also requested hourly team walk their dog while they were away on vacation without additional pay. Amenities were continually being reduced providing little to no value to guests. They closed the restaurant from Dec-April and did not even stock the Flying Fox Market which stranded guests without food options, removed Disc Golf, Guided UTV tour, Archery and the pool has been closed. They are okay with the property running extremely short staffed with everyone working a 2-3 person workload each. They do not staff events properly and clients constantly shared feedback on how they could tell the event was understaffed. Everything is a scramble to execute. General Manager excessively talks over others in team meetings and blurts questions/ statements that are already detailed in either emails previously sent or in event packet information previously sent which shows he does not even value or take the time to read the information he requests to be sent. Does not take leadership of the events more of barking orders approach.
