"A Horrible Experience"

Pros

The office was beautiful, and the other employees were smart, interesting people

Cons

I have never worked for a company that showed its employees such little respect and had such little value for their personal time. The way people were treated was honestly shocking. Management was haphazard and unclear in its directives, which made it impossible for the team members to do good work. You were expected to wear many hats, as is common in small companies, but I feel like we weren't even told what those hats were supposed to be. We did get to work with some high-profile clients but there was little repeat business due to the shambolic way management handled things. There seemed to be no clear directive about what type of business we were, so we would try to be all things to all people and ended up doing everything but doing it badly. It's all hype. If you are thinking of working here, I agree with another reviewer to contact former employees on LinkedIn and ask about their experiences. I doubt a single one would recommend you take the job

Pros

Not trying to be mean, I genuinely Found no pros here. Anything good you find in this company is something standard.

Cons

I didn't add any Pros coz the whole experience is nothing but a nightmare. First thing that stuck me was how they said I would have an induction explaining my duties as well any company specific rules and regulations. I was given tasks to work on the afternoon I joined, but the induction process never happened. The company has rules about logging in which they never explain in detail. In short they wouldnt mind about asking you work over time or during the weekends or assign impossible deadlines without any planning, but they would cut your pay if you forget to log in. And the only time you get to know about losing the money is after the salary is cut. Its upsetting because the days I forgot to log in I came to work and I was working long hours. I was giving everything I got for the projects I was assigned on and I forgot to login. Everyone in the management knew this because I was working closely with most of them. So in short, I was working almost 13 hours a day just to lose 20% of my pay. The thing that concerns me more is not how they are willing to make you work long hours and over time with no pay or that they jump at every opportunity to cut your pay, but the fact that neither the HR team nor my team leader showed me any form of compassion or any urge to help me. I am sorry but the call centers I worked in 8 years ago has better work ethics than here.

Pros

Very good, informal culture, excellent focus on high quality product dev work,. Global Products, you can see the impact of your work on worldwide customers. Very transparent and straightforward management. Good pay. Absolutely no office politics

Cons

Its a startup, so sometimes you would miss the infrastructure that you would find at Microsoft or other big campuses. The Infra is good, but no large campus or buildings.
