Employees are used and abused and are just numbers. Management is horribly unorganized and focused on egos and being liked rather than doing what’s best for the business and employees. If you’re not liked personally by leadership or HR you will have a target on your back until you are fired for some bogus drawn up reason. Employees need jobs so they will say everything is ok to avoid backlash or feeling they will lose their jobs for saying what they really feel. The owner has the right ideas but the people he has leading what matters is working in opposition of what is important. “positivity” and “improvement” only exists on the surface. Look a little further and all there is, is uncertainty, lies and manipulation. So many safety issues that are just covered up by “we’re going to get to it”. Their HR team fires employees without proper process. They’ll fire to avoid dealing with employees rather than getting to a proper resolution and keep those who they like personally.
