    I worked at Framestore full-time

    Pros

Framestore is an amazing place to work for. The Management team is great, very fair, very straight and trustworthy. The work produced is usually excellent. The crew is great and the culture of the company is very healthy.

    Cons

The whole industry runs on a shoestring and this shows at Framestore with the wages and contract being tightly managed. Saying this it is still possible to do well for people who put extra effort in the work.

I worked at Framestore full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Fair salary for some, award winning projects, quality work, some great staff and artists

    Cons

Uneven pay for similar employees with similar experience, promotions not all earned, prod teams not always logically matched with scope of project at hand (huge prod team for smaller project, small prod team for huge project, entirely junior prod teams assigned to complex projects / clients)

I worked at Framestore full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Tonnes to learn from experienced talented artists/developers. Variety of interesting projects and insights to the latest technologies. Managers were accommodating in terms of giving work to suit interests.

    Cons

Weekday overtime wasn't paid. I felt very underpaid for the type of work I was doing after 6 months, and wasn't given a raise when asked, but was offered a perm role and had positive feedback. I tried to transfer within the company, but apparently (rumour has it) management told talent to withhold a job offer - I heard this about a year later from my interviewer who left. Later reapplied and moved, but at the time mental health was in tatters due to family deaths, living situation and not enjoying the job at the time.

Everyone is willing to take the time and teach you steps that you may not know, but only if you ask questions. Everyone is friendly and has high expectation.

    Cons

Producers act like your curing cancer at times.
