Pros

Search team is wonderful and we got to work with some great clients.

Cons

There is no room for growth unless you follow the path leadership sets for you. In addition, turnover is extremely high (almost 1 employee a month). The CEO also said some inappropriate words to several employees.

Pros

- Team worked well together - Exciting clients (blockchain, fintech, biotech, computer software, social media, future transportation, automotive/trucking)

Cons

- Niche field makes it hard to grow business - No concentration on employee development or career growth. Roles were too focused and was hard to grow into a different one another unless there was an immediate - Inflated titles thrown around to create layers within extremely small company of 16 employees (Assistant to Chief of Staff, Assistant Manager, etc.) - CEO doesn’t know/understand what associates do day to day (When 2 partners left, CEO had everyone fill out a questionnaire. First question was “tell me what you do in one sentence.”)

Pros

Nice and fun coworkers socially. They will always offer to help, even though they usually don't have the capacity to.

Cons

Overall, environment is not great: - Managers are not transparent about growth paths. New responsibilities are always given to employees as if the company is doing the employee a favor, when usually is due to understaffing and higher level employees feeling overwhelemed. - Raise schedule is confusing with no transparency and raise asks are accepted or rejected depending on the mood of upper management. Leadership has also acknowledged that there is pay disparity between male and female employees. - Company totes a focus on DEI but does not practice. No real diversity, harrassment, or bias trainings are done for employees. Leadership often performs microaggressions that are expected to be laughed off as company does not really have an HR department for reporting and employees fear retribution.
