FreeWire Technologies Response

We appreciate current and former employees feedback. 1. Our salaries and stock options align with the compensation range for a Series A startup. All employments are At Will. 2. A startup is a stressful environment. Working in a startup can be tough with a heavy workload and busy schedule. One's accomplishments are readily recognized! One's failure is also readily noticed! 3. FreeWire leaders are experienced. Beside being visionary, they drive results, creating engagement and identify innovation opportunities. FreeWire continues to evolve and improve as the company embarks on the next phase of our journey to success!

Narcissistic C*Os

Pros

Good sales team Good funding Some parts of the company are fun to work with

Cons

* An unstable COO with clinical narcissistic tendencies. Disrespectful to everyone, especially his subordinates, he steers the company in the wrong direction in every possible way. Innately treats everyone as a competitor and can be seen taking credit for someone else's work, including CEO's, CFO's and legal team's. Yes, legal team. A micromanager with a very scattered focus. Always wreaks havoc in decision making through his judgments which leads to long term failures for the company. No one under him has experienced meaningful growth in the past few years, and he enjoys pitting his direct reports against each other. This will adversely affect the company's products and services from engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and field service. As a result, every VP and every executive unit has low morale. * Terrible HR management with no experience in hi-tech. Very adamant, argumentative and extremely unhelpful. * An internal salary study concluded that most employees at the Bay Area location were paid "significantly less" than a reputable compensation survey among companies of similar size and domain. HR policies and C-suite executive management greed have left everyone in the company with equity plans, with nothing to show for all the hard work.

Pros

Great engineering. Competent set of tech folks who can take the company very far. Products that sell themselves. Stocks.

Cons

C-suite's condescension towards engineering and operations. The CEO, founder is a millennial MBA with a huge disdain for engineering. The guy needs to develop an appreciation for technical brains that keep the company going. Incompetent, vindictive, argumentative HR leadership. Horrendous recruitment team. Amateurish product management Cheap lunch Bad benefits Subpar salaries
