Pros
If you're looking for action, this is the place to be. Fresno has no shortage of violent crimes and criminals to catch. Each Officer is well equipped with a Taser, and decent gear.
Cons
The Chief is corrupt and will do WHATEVER it takes to make you disappear if that is what he wants. He claims to be a Christian (born again) but is just a hypocrite. The department doesn't care about you as a person, just your stats (really disguised as quotas). You have to carry the firearm they issue, not your own. The Chief doesn't believe in the 2nd amendment rights. The department promotes the worst Officers to Sergeants (not all but most). You will only get on special teams if you are part of the "in crowd" not based on your training or skills. The Chief keeps changing the names of tactical teams for no apparent reasons and they get worse. Idiotic. Morale is at its all time low because of the Chief's policies.
