Volunteers are amazing and work hard for us

Unless you’re part of the “in” crowd with the leadership team, you’re not going to have a good experience. Onboarding is inconsistent and not at all equitable. The ED and DD will hold off providing answers to your questions or give you the wrong information on purpose. Not at all supportive but they come across as being supportive. They talk about employees behind their backs and they have the board completely fooled.

Pros

Some lower level staff members are very dedicated and skilled. Many staff at all levels have good intentions but are overworked and underpaid.

Cons

Many members of the management team lack basic communication skills, and do not participate in efforts to hire, retain, and promote diverse staff. The majority of POC staff members were laid off within the last year. Racist comments were frequently made by some staff members without any consequences or resolution. Suggestions made by staff to improve the working environment were ignored.

"Leadership" team is corrupt and self serving. The organization is broke and it shows.
