Pros
Co-workers are friendly, fun atmosphere, great experience if you're starting your career. Free lunches every week! Extravagant Christmas parties, summer BBQs, and an annual retreat.
Cons
Pay didn't compensate for the effort. It was obvious that fiscally the company wasn't doing their part to ensure stability. Founder wanted to take a moonshot at growth approach without considering the mental health and well-being of his employees. He has allegedly tried this several times and refers to the layoff phase as "the staffening" (very unprofessional and cringe) On-boarding was very poor. I felt I had to learn everything about my role on my own, which was empowering once I had it figured out. However, it is the companies responsibility to ensure their employees have to tools/training for success. At the end of my career I felt that I was let go after coming forward in confidence with a mental health issue I have been struggling with for years.
