- [At the moment] the schedule for the week Tues-Mon typically comes out the Saturday before, so it makes it very hard to plan your next week if you don't have very specific availability, and for whatever reason it is frowned upon to have shifts switched/covered, so this is literally on my mind every time I need to make a plan for the next week
- Minimum wage (currently $12 in 2019, I believe will increment every year until 2023)
- The expected "dirty work" of mopping, cleaning bathrooms, etc., and (in my opinion) it isn't exactly fair that you get the dirty work as part of an evening shift, but you're likely to make $30 more in tips when working a morning shift, which is always busier, but I personally enjoy a busier environment
