Pros

Friendly staff, lots of cake and lots of time training to better staff, whether relevant or not.

Cons

Prioritises clients. Very slow at getting back to candidates. Focus is more on breaking even financially rather than delivery. Poor commission scheme and underpaid staff. No drive. 'Consultants' attend events to save face rather than to interact with industry insiders. Little focus on helping candidates unless they fit the mould for their favourite clients. Would not trust your interaction with at Futureheads as there is quite a two faced culture, which is a shame as they have a professional looking office set up and a handful of very competent staff, namely Craig Paton, David Mitchell, Rohan Maheswaren, Andrew Rogers and Chris Chapman. It is sadly the culture set by the directors which lets them down.

Pros

- Great opportunity to partner closely with exciting clients - Nice office perks (breakfast etc., although rationed to portion sizes towards the end!) - Not an aggressive, transactional recruitment culture - Approachable CEO

Cons

- Uncompetitive compensation - Poor personal growth structure that lacked consistency, combined with a 'one size fits all' approach and goal posts moved around for OKR rewards. - Overly complex shared commission structure which is sold as an incentive to win as one company, however evolved into a profit-before-people culture (was deducted bonus from an issue with payment from a client/role which I had zero involvement) - Although great to heave a female trio on the CEO board, all male management team with clear favouritism and bias to certain individuals who had closer personal relationships with them. Lack of drive to balance out the gender inequality. - On occasion misogynistic, bullying and blame culture well hidden from the board
